It is important to know that the PAUSE; acronym will stand for different things depending on where you are in your process. Going through the process from start to finish, you will find that no stage is easier than the last. They all require work, and delving into the depths of your life experiences, be they good or bad. This process is mostly self-reflective. It’s not about placing blame or assessing damages done by others to you, but learning why you felt damaged in the first place, and determining how to move forward towards a better understanding of yourself and your mental stability.  There isn’t one stage in this process that you won’t have to repeat or revisit. As new emotions come to light, and new situations occur, you will often feel like you are at back at square one emotionally and that’s ok. Life will dredge up emotions or feelings, you weren’t aware you had. It is certainly possible to be at different phases of the process when dealing with multiple emotions.
